My name is Matt. I'm a retired life insurance mathematician. That's kind of a cross between financial analyst and mathematician. Life insurance is a lot of math. Somebody's got to do it. I've also started a few small businesses which required accounting software. 

This website is a personal project with certain goals:

- Provide (mostly) free information and/or spreadsheets about accounting and financial matters.
- Evaluate the website builder called Nicepage as it applies to this website.
- Evaluate my host - Hostwinds. This includes (mostly) free tools by Softaculous.

Note: Some things aren't free like Nicepage and FreshBooks. Also, some links are affiliate links. I may receive a commission if you purchase something.
